Easter

We were excited to have our friends Ted, Leah and their four kids spend the night with us on the way to their spring break in Florida on Good Friday. They like in Milwaukee so Nashville was a great stopping point for them. They had met Robbins and we had met Hudson and Maddie but 3 kids had been added to the bunch since the last time we were all together. Ted was in the Air Force with J.Ed out in Utah and has always been such a great friend to him. He was really fortunate to have both if them out there and I have enjoyed getting to know them so much!

Ready for the playroom camp out! Apparently Robbins was way more into talking than sleeping. I have no clue where he gets that from.

On Saturday morning we headed to Lexington. j.Ed's grandfather has been ill so we wanted to get up there to visit him and it worked out well that all the cousins were in town.

Here is Robbins at the UK baseball game. So, apparently the new trend are these flat bill hats. Every college baseball player wears them and every kid 15 and under. They.are.the.worst. Thanks Justin Bieber!

But, Jack had one and all the baseball players and J.Ed told Robbins before they went he could pick out any hat he wanted and much to my dismay. Oh baby,baby,baby. I know this is just the first of many trends my kids will wear that I will loathe. I mean, the things I tried to pull off growing up, wow!

Do you see how Robbins is trying to be just like Jack? If Jack turned his hat a different direction, so would Robbins. It was so cute but also a reminder of how impressionable they are and how important that they choose friends wisely, even at an early age.

I cherish the time the kids get to spend with their cousins. They have such a good time together and we are so blessed on both sides of our family with cousins and aunts and uncles to love on our kids.
