Landry's Favorite Things

I saw this on a friends blog and decided I wanted to do it for the kids. A couple weeks late but that's OK.

FAVORITE THINGS:

COLOR: Pink and ellow(yellow)

FOOD: For sure. Chicken nuggets and french fries(healthy I know). She also like smoothies, bananas and yogurt.

DESSERT: Ever since Halloween, all she has wanted are suckers.

FUTURE OCCUPATION: Whatever requires an unlimitless amount of sass.

SONG: We sing Jesus loves me, twinkle twinkle and i love you a bushel and a peck every night before bed but in all seriousness she likes to listen to our music like Shovels & Rope, Avett and her personal favorite right now is Lorde.

TV/MOVIE: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Yo Gabba Gabba.

BOOK: Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?

WORD/PHRASE: "Where's x(Robbins, Poppy,etc.)", "Whatchoo doing?", " "No"

ACTIVITIES: coloring, running, and whatever brother is doing

TOY:strangely she doesn't really play with much besides whatever her brother is doing.

LIKES:making a mess, coloring, listening and dancing to music, singing, daddy throwing her up in the air, anything that annoys brother, me, rocking and reading before bed, swinging, bossing people around

DISLIKES: Saying goodbye to Mommy and Daddy, not getting a bite of anything you are eating, having something taken away from her, being told no, bath time

BIG THINGS IN THIS YEAR: Her vocabulary is crazy! She learned her ABCs, counting to 10, most colors and names of family and friends, down to 1 nap a day ,and her personality comes through all the time. She has also become super agile, running and jumping all over the place.

Little Pumpkins Birthday

Happy Birthday Landry! To the sweetest, cuddliest, sassiest, and funniest little girl I know. You are such a blessing to our family and everyone around you. You are strong, confident, and pure energy. You and your brother are quite the pair and although there is a lot of picking, there are some awfully sweet moments of sibling fun too. Thank you for keeping us on our toes and enjoy my Landry Top 10.

We had a great birthday weekend. It was pretty no fuss, just the family and 3 little friends. After a fun morning get together, and some serious naps, a little more family came over for dinner and s'mores. I have no doubt that this very loved little girl felt the love this weekend!

Halloween

 Thanks to sever weather, Halloween festivities had to be pushed a day. No worries! In our house we did a little scavenger hunt around the house for candy and the kids had a great time. Since trick-or treating got moved to Friday that meant everyone who was coming in town for Landry's 2nd birthday got to go with us, including my nephew William. Robbins and William are obsessed with each other and cracked us up when they decided to switch costumes for the night.

We joined up with some neighbors and made the track around our neighborhood and had so much fun b/c people don't play around with holidays in Riverwalk:) As one can imagine, we never felt safer with all these superheroes to protect us.
