24 Week Ultrasound

So J.Ed and I went for a follow up ultra sound today and Praise the Lord everything looks great. One interesting fun fact is that little boy is weighing in at 1 lb 10oz. guess what that's what a 27 week old weighs. average for a 24 week old is 1.1oz.-1.3oz.! If you look at the picture above you can see how long his legs are and they were talking about how long his arms are too. J.Ed and I both have some major height in our family it just skipped over us. It looks like this one is going to be a big one. His waist is measuring 24 weeks it's just his arms and legs that are so long! We are so thankful that everything looks good and that he is (very) healthy. We are heading to Memphis this weekend for a baby shower for my brother and sister in-law, as well as to see the Harrison twins, we are so excited!

More Nursery Fun

I found this great canvas online and I am crazy about it. I think it goes perfectly with the vintage feel of the room. I know this kid is going to have no clue what all this stuff is but we figure he gets to have our style until he develops his own:) I have another ultrasound on Tuesday and we are excited to get to see him close up again. He is moving like crazy. Literally all day...maybe it's the morning large iced coffee. We are also hoping we don't go in there and they say just kidding it's a girl! Not that a girl wouldn't be great too, but come on I've already ordered my glider...priorities!

Nursery Ideas

So of course one of the perks about finding out that our little boy is a little boy is shopping for mom. I have a few ideas for the nursery but am finding myself extremely non committal right now. I am posting a few pics below of what I'm thinking. We want it to be very boyish but different so we were thinking bright colors and cool record albums and concert posters from Hatch Show Print(a Nashville tradition). We shall see though, who knows what will come to me next week!
