Robbins and all his new cousins

Here are a few pictures from our wonderful time in Lexington. We had such a great time seeing so much family and friends. We went Wednesday afternoon and sweet Robbins did so well. He was great on the car ride down and still slept great that night too. On Thursday we received an early Christmas present from our parents, a Nikon d3000 camera. It is awesome, the pictures are so incredible. We had Thanksgiving dinner at J.Ed's aunt and uncle's house where Robbins was a hit with all his new cousins. It was a bit hectic but so worth it! Friday J.Ed and I had a date day and went to lunch and to see The Blind Side(loved it and thanks Nana for hanging out with Robbins.) Then Lee and Meghann came to hang out while we got Robbins in bed then went to see some band. It was great to get out but musically it was my worst nightmare...super loud and no words. What can I say, I am the sing along type:) Then Saturday was game day. J.Ed and Lee prepared with there usual morning stadium tun, bloody mary's, tailgating etc. Robbins went to his first cat walk and tailgate. So much fun to see how happy J.Ed was to have him there, he was a very proud papa. It was a great weekend(minus the UK loss in overtime). There were some major sad boys back at the house afterward and I know one cat fan who has still not recovered. Overall thought it was great, back at work and getting excited about my parents coming to visit this weekend!

Best 3 Months Ever

Robbins may be three months but clearly a 3 month onesie is not quite right!
The infamous duck lips

He is jabbering like crazy.
Robbins loves his big sister Sophie
Happy Birthday to me!

Believe it or not Robbins was 3 months on November 10th I can not believe how fast it has gone by. I headed back to work last week. It was very bittersweet. I love my job and the people I work with so it was great to be around them again but I missed the little man so much. This week has been much easier now that we have got a bit of a routine established...for now. He is talking up a storm, holding his head up all the time and laughs at everything we do. I tell you one thing it is amazing how he can be so good and bad for one's confidence level. One day I think there is no way this child will make it with us in charge and the next he laughs at everything we do and makes me think I am clearly a comedic genius. He is standing and pushing up on his legs with minimal support and loves to bat at all the toys on his play gym. Since he is pretty big for a 3 month old, we really see how strong he is. Especially when he decides he is over tummy time and rolls over...I died! Anyways all is well here and we are so excited to head to Lexington next week for Thanksgiving. I know one cousin in particular who is very excited to see Robbins. He can't wait to see you either Jennifer!

Ella was a natural! He loved her, and he kept rubbing her face.
The cousins finally meet, they didn't pay to much attention to one another but had a ball on the play mat.

Thanks for coming to visit Robbins John and Rachel
Last week J.Ed's friends from his Airforce days, Ted and Leah and their two kids Hudson and Maddie came to visit from Milwaukee. We had a great time catching up and even got a adult night out thanks to awesome Diana for baby sitting 3 kids 5 and under!! After a wonderful Halloween as the cutest tootsie roll ever, Robbins, Benson, Sophie and I headed home. We had not been to Memphis since little man made his debut and J.Ed was gone for work. It was the perfect opportunity to make the trip. We had so much fun, hanging out with friends and introducing the new cousins. So many people came to visit us, my parents was like a revolving door. We had such a wonderful time!

Lee and Ryan's Engagement Party Weekend

The last few weeks have been full of introductions for Robbins. We made the trip to Lexington at the end of October to celebrate the engagement of Lee and Ryan with family and friends. It was so much fun! Ryan's parents and sister came all the way from Deleware, and were a trip. We had such a great time and hopefully they enjoyed they Bluegrass state too. We went to Keeneland, a football game, threw a party and hung out with both sets of grandparents. It was so great to have everyone around because there are so many hands to help out with Robbins. Here are a few pics from the weekend please take note of J.Ed and Sam's sweet moves.
