10 Months-Way Behind

She gives this crooked smile just like her brother!

 Chillin

She gets bored with me very quickly:)

Sweet Landry how are you 10(almost 11) months old! You officially started crawling and pulling up in August and have not looked back sense. You are over baby food entirely and pretty much only eat table food now like avocado, turkey, fruit, chicken, spaghetti, etc. You still take about 4 bottles a day(6oz.) but can tell you are kinda over  You love to clap now and you and your brother interact so much now. He hugs on you all the time and talks to you like you are going to answer back at any moment. You are still a pretty good sleeper with a wake up here and there for paci help and still taking 2-3 naps a day. I think it's just part of my daycare kids. They go all week with one nap and by the weekends need to catch up. Robbins was the exact same way and still takes a power nap on Saturday and Sunday. This post will be a little shorter then most b/c I am saving all the fun milestones for your 11 month post as September has been a huge month for you my girl! You are wearing 12-18 month clothes and are still a little chunk. You love swinging, dancing and singing to any kind of music and your a big fan of Sophie and Benson. Of course I started planning your 1 year party but we are going to go somewhat low key and have in in Germantown. You are so precious and such a smiley baby, we are so thankful for you sweet pea.

Indy

We headed to Indianapolis to visit family and visit the Children's Museum. It was so nice to have a couple a days of low key, relaxing fun with fun people. Not to mention Robbins is OBSESSED with his cousins and they are pretty fond of him and Landry to so it was a nice break for J.Ed and I. We watched football and baseball, laughed our heads off and just overall had a great weekend. Thank you Underwood's for a great time!!

Bumblebee Transformer at the Children's Museum. He died.
I'm sure you never knew that I also dabble in archaeology.

Polar bears, Chihuly and hot wheels, oh my!
Yes! A picture of me and a child
 Daddy-Daughter dance
 Sweet cousins

Another one of us, what?!

She can now maneuver stairs, yikes.

Solving all the problems of the world, I'm sure.
Hanging out at Jack's baseball game
R didn't understand why he couldn't go out there and play.
Landry cheering
So along with everyone else we did the my heritage app to see our look alikes and...
Seriously?

Clearly Landry won

Lately

We have had a fairly chill week and weekend around here. After our 9 month and 3 year well visits, respectively, I realized how different these two are. Robbins rand in 41.5 inches and 41 lbs. I am pleased to say that he is perfectly proportioned for a 5 year old. Ms. Landry was 29 inches and 23 lbs, right around 50th %. i must say it has been nice not having to but new clothes for her every month like her brother:) We headed to Lexington this past weekend for a baby shower and football game, and as always we had a great time. We are all a little puny right now with allergy/weather change but nothing a little R&R and a zpack cant cure! We are heading to Indy this weekend to see our cousins and go to the Children's Museum. I am sooo excited b/c I love watching these kids play together. See you soon Underwood crew!

 A little dad snuggle time
M&M face-my bribe for good behavior. Those who know me will understand the M&M loving  tradition I am instilling in my child.

Praise the Lord-this one has curls! I try desperately not to compare my children to one another. I mean like they have any control over their hair texture or builds but...after the locks Robbins Bilby was blessed with I secretly wished begged God to give my little girl those same curls. And after bath the other day...so sweet.

This is what playtime looks like at our house now. I feel quite certain Landry will be able to hold her own in no time.

My new do. I chopped it! So nice to have a change and seriously cuts down on hair time:)

Landry giving Robbins a facial at Nana and Pops

Celebrating Baby Girl Reilly! She got a pair of Stuart Weitzman shoes and the best response I heard was. Seriously? I don't even have Stuart Weitzman's and I'm 35...with a job. Ha! Well none of us are to concerned about Baby Reilly's fashion future as her mom is an owner of the adorably stylish Adele in Lexington, KY.

This was my view on the drive home yesterday. Robbins really is so sweet(disregard previous wrestling pic). He loves her so much and I love watching him love her. Of course i still have not done Landry's 10 month post but it still happened, she is 10 months and I cannot believe she has now been out longer then in my belly. Crazy!

This video is amazing! J.Ed took Robbins to the UK game on Saturday and apparently he yelled this, go football, or go defense the entire time. He also loved the post touchdown fireworks. At one point in the first half when UK wasn't scoring much he said to J.Ed, "Daddy, I want more fireworks." and the guy in front of them turned around and said "me too buddy!" I though it was hysterical even though clearly their motives were different:)

Love This Article

As I continue to walk in this new found light of transparency, I wanted to share this article. A wonderful friends shared this post with me today. Here's a peek:

"For years I was not sure what the Bible meant that women would be saved through childbearing, but it grows clearer to me now. I once thought it referred only to giving birth, but its meaning encompasses the span of motherhood. Children are born in an instant, but they are borne across a lifetime. Childbearing saves me because it faithfully (albeit painfully) reminds me over and again that I am weak. It reminds me that I am not self-sufficient, that I do not have what it takes to preserve and protect my children, but that my heavenly Father does. It saves me from the belief that I am God."

What's interesting is after it was sent to me I noticed another friend had posted on facebook. This tells me that this is relevant; that what God is taking me through is happening to alot of other people. It is also applicable for other relationships too like marriage and friends. Because I can promise you my marriage wasn't born at the alter nor my friendships behind a school desk or in a church pew but are being borne over time and are constant reminders that we are not God.

War Eagle/ Go Cats

Thanks to this glorious time of year known as the beginning of football season, this is what our weekend has looked like.

We each claimed a kid for college colors day.

My version of gameday ready

Robbins rocking the double logos

Landry in one of Robbins old tshirts. I said I always wanted another son.

So far the Lowe house is 0-1 for wins this weekend and it's not looking so good for J.Eds cats either. Oh well, there's always next weekend, or one of the next 11!
