Happy Wear Red Day!

Today is a day to celebrate 10 Years of Go Red For Women. 10 years of educating women about their greatest health risks, heart disease and stroke. This campaign, FOR WOMEN. BY WOMEN. has saved over 660,000 lives in the last 10 years. That is 660,000 mother, daughters, sister and friends who can celebrate with us today. Join me in wearing red to celebrate all these survivors and raise awareness of this silent and often misunderstood killer.

Heart disease remains the No. 1 killer of all women, but somehow we still do not see it as our greatest threat. 90% of women have at least 1 risk factor for heart disease. Join me today in wearing red for the 1 out 3 of us that will be affected by heart diseases and stroke. For more info and to learn the risks and symptoms(they are different for women then men). Go to www.goredforwomen.org.
