Before we moved from Nashville we had a birthday party for Robbins with all his buds from church and school. It was equal parts birthday and goodbye party for all of us. Simple and fun. We had a little bit of drama with the inflatable company canceling that day, so we are now the proud owners of a giant inflatable water slide. At the time I was annoyed but now that summer is winding down I can tell you that it was a great investment! Robbins actual birthday was the Sunday we were leaving Ryan and Bryn's wedding so we had a big birthday breakfast at the hotel, presents and candles in pancakes and all.
