6 Months(Better Late Than Never)

So I know she is now closer to 7 months then 6 but I still wanted to get this posted. Landry is just the sweetest little blessing we could have ever asked for. We had her 6 mo. appointment 2 weeks ago and all is well. She is about 80+% across the board in height, weight and head and is developmentally moving right along. As you can see in the pics above she is getting pretty good at sitting up and is just a ham. She is eating 6 oz. 5 times a day and is also eating 2 oz. of solid foods twice a day. So far she has had avocado, green beans, peas, squash, carrots, sweet potato's, bananas, pears, and peaches with little trouble.


She sleeps from about 7pm to 6am with 2 to 4 naps during the day depending on length. It's so funny how less scheduled I am with her then I was with Robbins and amazing she is surviving:) She is a pacifier girl, which is new to us b/c Robbins hated his, so I usually have to go upstairs about once a night and stick it back in, which kind of stinks. She is in 9 or 12 month clothes depending on the brand and mostly that is b/c she has the same really long torso her brother has.

She "talks" all the time now and really loves when you tickle her neck or blow on her stomach. You get a big chuckle with either of those. She has just recently gotten really into the bouncer and started bouncing herself in it as well as toys that you roll around and stack. She makes her needs very clear. She really only cries if she is hungry and if she is tired she literally tries to lay down no matter what you are doing. She will arch her back and try to lay down, it hysterical but helpful I must say. She is putting weight on her feet but has no interest of being on her stomach at all. In fact absolutely hates it so i will be curious about her crawling. She rolls over but gets so mad and immediately rolls herself back over and looks at me like why did you just let that happen.

Robbins is still doing really well with her. My favorite is when he calls her sweetie but b/c of the way he says it it sounds like schwetie. He hits her every once in a while and then looks at me for a reaction so you can tell it's just for attention but overall he is super gentle and actually pretty helpful with her. It is amazing how positioning it that way, as him being my big helper, empowers him to make better choices. Don't get me wrong, he still doesn't listen to me 60% of the time, I mean he's 2 1/2,  but it does help:)
