The Beginning of the End (of our Nashville life)

I am not completely ready to say my goodbye to this place yet. I will, I just need to time to think of the words that do justice to the place and home where we have spent the last 8 1/2 years of our lives. Since next Friday is our last official day, we have begun getting together with friends to have see ya later dinners and nights out.

We headed to Blue Moon Lagoon with most of our Community Group. It was fun, it was sad.

We were missing a couple folks but these people have been our backbone the past 8 years. These are the people we celebrated with, grieved with, laughed with and cried with. People ask me what I am going to miss most and 2 things rise to the top, my job and our church, which gave us these friends.

Music City Brewers Fest with the Bailey's. A great night in downtown Nashville!

4th of July

For the 4th of July, the kids and I headed to Lexington while J.Ed headed to Vegas for Ryan's bachelor party. A good time was had by all, my fun just wasn't as exhausting:) We went to the pool, a patriotic concert downtown and got to see some fun fireworks. The kids had so much fun!

Robbins & Ellie, his future wife, if the adults have any say in it!

Standing up during the Air force theme song, representing their sweet daddy.

Nana and Pops went ahead and gave R his birthday present due to our impending move. A new bike! he has out grown his and loves his new one.

We had a great time visiting with family and friends!

Robbins Preschool Graduation

I cannot believe Robbins is finishing Pre-School this year. Belle Meade has been such a blessing to our family and we are going to miss it when we head to Huntsville in the fall. I have watched him grow into such an awesome little boy with great manners, a great conversationalist and true empathy for those around him.

Last Day of School in Room 3 and 7. On to Room 5 and pre-K!

Beach 2014

In May we headed to the beach with the majority of both our families. The fact that we are blessed with so many people that like to be together does not escape us, I promise. We know this is not always normal but we love seeing how all the different personalities come together. Guests included, all of us, my parents, J.Ed's parents, my nephew, brother, SIL and her mom! We had two houses next to one another and it worked out perfectly. Our week consisted of lazy mornings filled with donuts, relaxing days at the beach and pool filled with cocktails and family dinners out and at the house. It was so great to have all the cousins there together and really enjoy one another.

All sass, all the time.

We even got to have dinner with Nashville friends while we were there!
